With so many chains and tourist traps here, I was looking for a family owned breakfast spot and found it here. I had a delicious Crab and Cheese Omelet with Old Bay Seasoning. She had an order of their French Toast. Hot coffee and a friendly staff rounded out a great breakfast experience. Give them a try.

So glad we happened upon this place. Warm friendly service and great food! The cream chipped beef was the best I've had at a restaurant! My hubby had French toast and he rated it top notch as well.

Ann Marie served us this morning and we remembered her from our last visit two years ago. She's a sweet woman and cares about people and the quality of the food she serves and is one of the things that makes The Kitchen great.
Food here is really good. It's exactly what you would want and expect from an old time diner and I think it's probably the best breakfast in Ocean City.
